UTAH - USA
Utah is a state in the western United States, famous for its rugged and diverse natural environments that include deserts, mountain ranges and pine forests. It owes its diversity to being at the convergence of the Rocky Mountains, Colorado Plateau and the Great Basin.
The rugged landscape is valued for outdoor pursuits, with the landforms first brought into the popular consciousness through the great Westerns of the 1950s and 1960s. The state is now home to numerous National Parks, National Monuments and National Recreation Areas including Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, Capitol Reef National Park and Canyonlands National Park.
